Introduction
|
The
Horton Grand Hotel is
always ready to
welcome you with the
special charm and
personal service that
will make every stay a
memorable one. In
1986, two turn of the
century hotels were
painstakingly rebuilt
brick by brick, in the
heart of San Diego's
Gaslamp District.
Today, you can
experience the
elegance of the
Victorian Era at the
Horton Grand Hotel; a
superbly crafted
re-creation of San
Diego history and
Victorian
architecture.
The Horton Grand Hotel
is a full-service
historical Victorian
era hotel comprised of
132 unique,
beautifully appointed
guest rooms including
24 suites. Each room
is furnished with
antique queen size
beds, hand carved
armoires and lace
curtains. No two rooms
at the Horton Grand
are alike, and each
one is a showcase of
the past--with
up-to-date amenities
for the experienced
traveller. Step into
any room, and you have
entered into an
elegant age of
hand-crafted antiques,
with period decor and
a cozy gas fireplace.
Some rooms have
balconies overlooking
our charming New
Orleans fashioned
open-air courtyard,
while others have
fabulous city view
balconies or bay
windows and all units
are completely
air-conditioned. Each
room also has a diary
with handwritten
testimonials from
previous guests.
Owners Dori and
John Rose invite you
to explore the
extravagant
possibilities that
await you at the
