The Manchester
Grand Hyatt San
Diego opened
December 1992 and
completed an
expansion August
2003 where it is now
the tallest and
largest water front
hotel on the west
coast. The hotel has
two towers, one 40
stories and the
other 33 stories
located on the San
Diego Bay. It has
1,625 deluxe guest
rooms, 95 suites,
three ballrooms, an
exhibit hall and 41
meeting rooms. The
exterior consists of
glass and steel with
palm trees
surrounding the
hotel. Manchester
Resorts, LP is the
owner of the hotel.
